"Fonda Frontera, a restaurant by Rick Bayless, has closed after three years in Wicker Park. Initially opened as Xoco Bistro in August 2014, it rebranded to Fonda Frontera in November 2016 following slow business. Despite strong weekend business, weekday crowds thinned, leading to the restaurant's closure.
