"Bud Clark opened this pub and restaurant in 1967, going on to serve as the city’s eccentric mayor from 1985 to 1992. While Clark has passed away, the restaurant lives on, serving Reubens and pints in the Goose’s poster-lined dining room and outdoor garden. Bands will play out back during summer, and in the winter, there might not be a cozier spot for hot toddies and Irish coffees." - Heather Arndt Anderson, Krista Garcia, Rebecca Roland
