"Inside a narrow storefront next to Mary’s Fish Camp, this modest taqueria serves two-tortilla, standard-size, overstuffed tacos for $3.50 apiece — a steal in the neighborhood. The set-up is simple: a steam table right inside the door offers a choice of ten fillings, a small griddle in the rear reheats the meats and softens the tortillas, meats are then shoveled in and topped with chopped onions and cilantro. Sauces include chipotle and an even-better homemade chile de arbol. These are among the finest Pueblan tacos in town, with the carnitas especially nice and chewy. Burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and tortas are available with the same roster of fillings (including nopales for vegans and vegetarians). Cash only." - Robert Sietsema
