LA’s Trap Kitchen Will Open Cali Restaurant in Houston This Year - Eater Houston
"Cali is the latest restaurant by Trap Kitchen, a Los Angeles-based restaurant group. It plans to serve an eclectic mix of California and Texas Cajun cuisine while showcasing Black culture. The menu, curated by founders Malachi “Spank” Jenkins and Roberto “News” Smith, features dishes like grilled pineapple bowls, lamb chops, and cornish hens stuffed with jambalaya. The restaurant also offers loaded fries from Mr. Fries Man, signature pizzas from Trap Kitchen's Portland location, and various styles of mac and cheese from their cookbook.
