Senate Avenue Brewing Company Will Open in Jersey Village | Eater Houston

"I'm anticipating a new brewery from Jersey Village mayor Andrew Mitcham that will open later this year at 16000 Dillard Drive, Suite F; Mitcham says the project is currently stuck in the permitting process—'our biggest hurdle has been permitting'—and that the state and federal brewery permitting process takes a few months with many uncertainties. Construction is expected to begin in the next month or two, and Mitcham currently expects an arrival in December of this year or January next. As for beer, they plan a lineup of crowd-pleasers including an IPA, a blonde ale, a malty amber, and a high-gravity stout; Mitcham, a self-described 'hop head,' says they will also listen to followers to develop beers that suit local palates and aim to be a real neighborhood brewpub catering to friends and neighbors in Jersey Village." - Amy McCarthy
