"Reopening just nine days after the Flying Pig’s closure, the space will be reborn as the Town Hall Public House with a name meant to evoke a public meeting place; Browning says the menu will pivot toward more family-friendly sharing plates, add lunch service for the first time, and expand the small-plate section to include items such as focaccia pizzas and pork belly dishes, along with a larger beer and cocktail program. I learned the gastropub focus will remain—still with a southern flair and an emphasis on seasonal, organic, local ingredients when possible—while the renovation will open up the space, add a front patio and lounge, and introduce shuffleboard, cornhole and more TVs to make the atmosphere less formal and more friendly." - Mike Schramm
