NYC Pizzeria Leo Will Open in Williamsburg From Ops Team - Eater NY

"Leo is a new, larger restaurant in Williamsburg by the team behind Bushwick’s standout pizzeria Ops. It will serve square slices to-go topped with lots of vegetables, inspired by Italy’s eastern coast, plus sandwiches on breads baked in-house. Leo will double as a takeout cafe and a sit-down restaurant with 70 seats, serving round pies and non-pizza entrees like pork and beef meatballs, vegetarian lasagna, and salads. The pizzas will be baked in an electric oven with a beloved sourdough crust made with whole wheat flour from upstate New York. Natural wines will be available on tap and from bottles. The restaurant is a solo project by owner Mike Fadem, with partners Gavin Compton, Joey Scalabrino, and Thomas Traudt. Leo's takeout operations are slated to begin in October, with the full restaurant opening in November." - Carla Vianna
