The Minds Behind Fitzhugh Avenue Fave Beverley’s Will Open a Cozy New Neighborhood Lounge - Eater Dallas
"A cozy new lounge will bring feel-good vibes to Fitzhugh Avenue later this year, according to the Dallas Morning News. Clifton Club is a project from chef Greg Katz, who also opened Beverly’s on Fitzhugh in 2019. Whereas Beverley’s offered Jewish deli and bistro-style fare like schnitzel, handmade pasta and sharables, Clifton Club will be more of a drinking spot, complete with lots of small tables, a green marble bar, and a flexible, plant-covered indoor-outdoor space. Katz told the DMN he hopes the bar, which will go into the spot formerly occupied by gay bar Zippers, will be the perfect spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink, or pit stop for those using the Katy Trail." - Brittanie Shey
