"Hidden in the back of a brick strip mall in between an Elks Lodge and a Public Storage, Milwaukie Pizza Co. is a small, family-friendly pizzeria that hits all the right notes despite the odd location. The crust is impeccably fired and crispy in just the right ways, and the eclectic menu features some interesting detours like Korean BBQ and a drizzle of balsamic reduction on the quattro formaggi. This is one of the newer entries on the list, but it’s a welcome outpost on a stretch of SE McLoughlin that’s mostly fast food and dive bars." - Ben Coleman
