"Sad days are ahead for fans of Yen Ching restaurant in Orange. The OC Register reports that the restaurant will be closing its doors on New Years Eve, ending an almost 40-year run for the iconic spot. Yen Ching has been known for decades to critics and regular diners alike as a spot for vintage Chinese-American cuisine, served with a smile inside a Googie-style A-frame cafe space.
