"Planned to open in the Chinatown-International District at 502 S King Street by the end of the year, Chung Chun Rice Dog — a globally popular, four-year-old Korean fried-snack chain with more than 300 locations worldwide, including LA and San Diego — is known for a variety of meats dipped in rice-flour batter and fried, coated in everything from panko breadcrumbs to Korean ramen noodles, and served with a selection of sauces, producing a chewy, mochi-like interior and a crunchy exterior. Taking over the former Tofully space, the small location includes some dining-room seating, so it appears the shop won’t be strictly grab-and-go; this will be the chain’s first Seattle outpost as it expands beyond California toward the Pacific Northwest and East Coast." - Gabe Guarente
