"While this FiDi restaurant has a classic London pub facade, inside it does things a little differently. They’re known for their “royal champagne brunch,” but this isn’t your grandmother’s afternoon tea. The menu features an illustration of Queen Elizabeth with sunglasses on, smoking a cigarette, surrounded by exploding champagne bottles, if that says anything about what you’re in for. While you can opt for the aforementioned champagne, we recommend starting the day right with their frozen espresso martini made with Absolut Vanilla, Kahlúa, and espresso, and topped with whipped cream. There are no cucumber sandwiches here, either: Their brunch options come with an indulgent, all-out twist, like their lobster mac and cheese-topped waffle, King’s Benedict featuring a poached egg, smoked salmon, and avocado atop an Old Bay and cheddar biscuit, or their peaches and cream french toast." - Lee Musho
