"Set to launch in mid-July in Point Loma after an extensive remodel that replaces the longtime Red Sails Inn, Ketch Grill & Taps will emphasize beer-friendly, seafood-forward fare, including Baja fish ceviche, smoked fish cakes, sake-miso wild salmon, and Portuguese seafood stew. In the run-up to the opening the company is staging a three-week pop-up to preview the all-day menu and first beer releases from the on-site Ketch Brewing — a new 10-barrel brewery viewable behind glass — with initial pours ranging from an easy-drinking Brig brew to a Kölsch and a Mexican-style lager; the pop-up runs 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and takes reservations at 858-427-0961.
