"A murky counterpoint to the Havana Hotel’s peppy restaurant, this speakeasy-style bar requires slinking down a short flight of candle-lit steps. Inside, red veladoras cast menacing patterns of shadow and light on the louche assortment of furnishings. The rotating drinks are far less Suspiria, mainly sticking to the tried-and-true. In a nod to the property’s Cuban theme, there is always a Hemingway daiquiri. In true San Antonio fashion, they are meant to be slammed." - Brandon Watson
