The founder, Pete Turner, expresses excitement about joining a prominent corner in Sloan’s Lake neighborhood, known for its history. There are plans for a shared courtyard for family activities and collaborations with Little Man Ice Cream. Illegal Pete’s started in Boulder in 1995 and is known for being a music-friendly business, providing free meals to artists and funding a local record label.
