"I'm charmed by the new spot at 461 St‑Sulpice, just a few blocks from its St‑Paul home base and directly across from the Notre‑Dame Basilica. It takes an 'if it ain’t broke' approach, mirroring the original by serving 49th Parallel coffee, pastries from Hochelaga bakery Arhoma, sandwiches, ice cream and ready-to-eat options like salads, while also selling beer (with a focus on smaller Quebec producers) and other gourmet products. The space continues the refined vintage atmosphere by designer Thomas Csano and features an eye-catching aqua storefront with flower boxes and hand-painted lettering, making it as photogenic as the first. It’s Le Petit Dep’s first expansion within Montreal and is open at 461 St‑Sulpice from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday–Sunday." - Tim Forster
