A Low-Alcohol Beer Maker Takes Over for South Park’s Burdick Brewery | Eater Seattle

"I learned that Burdick shuttered its South Park taproom in February and sold the space to a new low-alcohol operator after less than a year of operating there. Owner Max Leinbach said “a lot of things changed in life” — he got married and moved an hour out of the city — and selling the taproom was the best personal move for him. Burdick will pivot to releasing only specialty bottled beers a few times a year in select bottle shops around town; Leinbach doesn’t have distribution details yet and encouraged fans to watch Burdick’s Facebook page for updates.
