"Set to open in late fall on the corner of Union and Sixth Avenue, I’m looking forward to The Pink Hermit as a chic cafe and take-out–focused spot whose name nods to hermitage as a ‘secluded retreat.’ Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen, the intimate space will be clad in pale pink and gray marble with plenty of cozy seating inside and out, and it will evolve throughout the day from a coffee bar with pastries to to-go lunchtime service and, later, a wine bar serving small bites, champagne, and craft cocktails ideal for pre- and post-theater meet-ups." - Delia Jo Ramsey
