Sapporo Revolving Sushi opens near the Silverton Casino | Eater Vegas

"Part of restaurateur Freddy Hwang’s Sapporo Restaurant Group, the third Sapporo Revolving Sushi opened at the Silverton Village retail center (8229 Dean Martin Drive, behind the Silverton Casino) and brings the city's first locally launched sushi-focused conveyor-belt menu. I can pick plates off the moving track — including bluefin tuna, snow crab, surf clams, and seared Cajun albacore — all priced at $2.50 a serving. A full Japanese menu is also available on a touchscreen iPad, with specialty dishes cooked to order and sped to each seat via a second dedicated robot train. The wider menu includes larger appetizers and sushi rolls, sashimi, tempura plates featuring shrimp and the stuffed jalapeño bomb, ramen and udon bowls, plus entrees such as gyu katsu (deep-fried, panko-battered beef), grilled black cod, and striped bass served with mango salsa." - Bradley Martin
