LA Pizzeria da Michele Stretches Dough All the Way Up to Santa Barbara | Eater LA

"The incoming L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele — the famous 150-year-old name from Eat, Pray, Love — is slated to arrive by Memorial Day 2022 at 1031 State Street on Santa Barbara’s main drag. U.S. owner Francesco Zimone is taking over the former Spanish home of the Copper Coffee Pot and, as with the Hollywood location, plans include a large tree-wrapped patio, indoor dining, and a bar, with room in summer for a gelato cart operated by LA’s Gelato Festival crew. Head pizzaiolo Michele Rubini and executive chef Pablo Castillo will lead a menu centered on wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas alongside housemade charcuterie, pastas, seafood, steaks, and wines from both local vineyards and Italy.
