"Ariola Bakery, owned by Peter Ariola Jr., has transformed its traditional cannoli shells into Cannoli Bars, a shelf-stable candy bar compared to Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme. The bakery was originally a pastry shop on Rockaway Avenue, Brooklyn, founded in 1923, and later moved to Farmingdale, New York, expanding its wholesale operations. Ariola Foods, the parent company, claims to be the largest vendor of cannoli and sfogliatelle on the East Coast, producing over six thousand cannoli per hour. The Cannoli Bars, praised for their unique flavor profile, are part of an evolution of the family business and have been distributed to various locations, despite not being advertised on the company's website." - Emma Orlow
