Asiatown’s Newest Noodle Destination Has Arrived | Eater Houston

"I'm intrigued by a new udon noodle shop opening December 4 in Asiatown at 9630 Clarewood Drive Suite A15B; Mike Tran has been teasing photos of a Japanese-inspired dining room with white walls, floral accent art, decorative wooden ceiling beams, and dark wooden booths. From the Instagram posts it looks like a globally influenced menu: Italian-style udon pasta dishes such as seafood puttanesca, carbonara, and bolognese (including a truffle cream sauce), alongside Japanese curry dishes and bowls of traditional udon. CultureMap reports a Sichuan-inspired tan tan udon will be offered, and garlic bread will be available as an optional side. When it debuts it will join Tran's roster of restaurants including Night Market Thai, Ohn Korean Eatery, Tiger Den, Mein, Aka Sushi House, and Blkdog Coffee." - Alaena Hostetter
