Asiatown’s Newest Noodle Destination Has Arrived - Eater Houston
"Ishin Udon, a new project by serial Houston restaurateur Mike Tran, is set to officially open next week. The Japanese-inspired dining room features white walls, floral accent art, and a ceiling with decorative wooden beams, plus dark wooden booths for seating. The globally influenced menu includes Italian udon pasta dishes like seafood puttanesca, carbonara, bolognese, and truffle cream sauce, as well as Japanese curry dishes and traditional udon. A Sichuan dan dan noodle variant called tan tan udon and garlic bread as a side will also be offered." - Alaena Hostetter
