"An Oakland cat cafe where patrons sip drinks and play with adoptable cats, Cat Town Cafe opened in 2014 as the country's first cat cafe. It housed 21 cats and has recovered all but one after a late-night break-in in which a vandal smashed through two windows—security video shows him entering the cafe and the ensuing frenzy.
