"An aviation-themed bar on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood that opened in late 2014 after taking over the space from SixtySix. Launched by Wil Figueroa and co-owner Steve Kelly, it featured vintage map wallpaper, cozy dark blue booths, and wide chandeliers; cocktails were inspired by the 1950s and the menu was playfully designed like an in-flight safety manual with visual aids. After just over three years of operation, staff were suddenly notified of a closure last week, ownership confirmed the shutter, and the spot sold its last cocktail on Thursday night; there is no word yet on what will become of the building." - Farley Elliott
