"Similarly, Petrol Station became one of Houston’s earliest destinations for craft beer when it opened in 2005. The building, a former filling station, gave the bar its name, and hop-heads loved to gather in the massive oak tree-lined back yard. The bar closed in March due to the coronavirus in what many viewed as a huge loss for Houston’s beer community.
