Veteran Hollywood Restaurateur Opens Modest Italian Restaurant in Playa Vista | Eater LA

"Opening September 1 next to Playa Vista’s Concert Park in Silicon Beach, this traditional Italian eatery marks the return of LA restaurateur Will Kirby, who previously invested in spots like Les Deux, Geisha House and Big Wangs before divesting in 2010. Partners Ivan Kodeh and his wife Deva — owners of Il Piccolo Tritrovo in Pacific Palisades and Mariner’s Cafe in Marina del Rey — help steer the project. The intimate space seats about 48 indoors with slightly more capacity on the patio and offers a simple, seasonal Italian menu with a small selection of dishes served for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
