"Launched in 1998 at 777 West Lake Mead Parkway as The Reserve and sold into the Station Casinos family in 2001, this southwestern-themed property (a twin to the Fiesta Rancho) has had paperwork filed with the City of Henderson to extend its temporary shutter “until further notice.” The parent company is requesting gaming and liquor licenses be placed in non-operational status potentially until June 4, 2021 (the maximum allowed), citing uncertain economic conditions and saying there is no known re-opening date; the closure impacts hundreds of employees, including the staff of the resort’s Mexican restaurant." - Bradley Martin
