"Heading to the bar on Super Bowl Sunday is a wonderful way to abstain from Super Bowl festivities. Seating for one was an easy reservation an hour in advance, but the restaurant was still packed. The cold sesame noodles provided more than its $17 in loveliness. I devoured the simple dish, noting new layers as I made my way to the bottom of the bowl: obvious top peanut flavors, then that sesame shines through, cucumber crunch folded throughout, the mellowness of the egg ribbons, twangs of garlic, the comforting texture of the meal rounding out those final bites. Start with the dong bei salad and, if you are as excited about eating as I am, order the warming Lily Flemming fried rice, too. It’s Super Bowl Sunday, after all. — Paolo Bichierri, associate editor, Northern California" - Nat Belkov
