"After a brief bout of renovations, Soho’s Arlo Hotel has reopened its rooftop as Arlo Roof Top — with a new menu from the chef at the downstairs restaurant, Harold Moore and cocktails from an Employees Only bartender. The roof space was previously called the Good Story and once housed Moore’s “surf shack” pop-up, but the hotel flipped its decor and name, switching to the nickname A.R.T. and declaring the change permanent. It now fits 180 people inside and outside, and it has more of a lounge vibe, featuring outdoor chairs, hanging lights, and a mural that nods to the former name, saying “every night should end with a good story”. Moore, who previously worked at Daniel Boulud and Jean-George Vongerichten restaurants and made his name at the now-shuttered Commerce, put together the new food menu. He’s also in charge of the hotel’s ground floor restaurant, Harold’s Meat + Three. Snacks like guacamole and chips, wings, and a mezze platter with naan are on deck, as are more filling options like flatbreads, a burger, and a hot chicken sandwich. Meanwhile, drinks come from bartender Milos Zica of cocktail favorite Employees Only. Cocktails all cost $18 and include a spritz with St. Germain elderflower liqueur, orange bitters, prosecco, and soda, alongside some limited wine and beer options." - Serena Dai
