"I've learned that the LGBTQ-friendly Hamburger Mary’s has updated its opening timetable and is hiring for all positions as it relocates from its original site (which shuttered in 2006 across from the Hard Rock Hotel) to a spot almost two miles east near the corner of Flamingo Road and Spencer Street, joining forces with Flair Nightclub; the restaurant plans to be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with a debut expected in June. Launched in San Francisco in 1972 as a “classy-kitsch joint” serving “big & juicy gourmet burgers” and “tasty strong cocktails,” the chain now has 19 locations and offers a menu of “gourmet burgers, sandwiches and elevated pub fare,” plus a busy schedule of live entertainment including charity bingo, cabaret theater events, trivia, and karaoke." - Bradley Martin
