"Having followed this family-run spot for almost twenty years in northern Nevada, I was glad to see Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs expand to Henderson just over a year ago and become an instant hit. Its second local home debuts today on the westside, replacing the former 4,480-square-foot Biscuits Cafe near the intersection of Durango Drive and Sahara Avenue, and the interior has been completely updated with plenty of Peg’s now-familiar blue vinyl booths. It's open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for breakfast and lunch, and the menu leans hearty: “Glorified” skillets such as huevos rancheros, a sierra omelet and breakfast burritos; “Glorified” Benedicts including smoked salmon, steak and “Chef George’s Benedict” made with chorizo patties topped with chipotle Hollandaise; plus sandwiches, lighter choices and burgers for lunch, and Peg’s “Aloha” selections from Hawaii — the loco moco is very popular." - Bradley Martin
