"A new Uptown Dallas dining destination inside the Marriott Dallas Uptown Hotel will focus on globally inspired cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients and an upscale yet intimate atmosphere. Led by chef Juan Pablo Silva, formerly of the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas and experienced in opening hotel restaurants in Abu Dhabi, Doha and Beirut, the menu will spotlight fresh Gulf oysters, charcuterie made from meats sourced at local farms, seasonal produce, expertly cooked steaks, Peruvian-style roast chicken marinated with garlic and lime, and classic moules frites served with a crusty French baguette. The bar will feature a rare Tanqueray Gin Champion Shaker — one of only three in use in the United States — to produce labor-intensive, ice-cold shaken cocktails like martinis and Ramos Gin Fizzes. Interiors take cues from French brasseries with fluted glassware, Art Deco–inspired decor and eclectic industrial lighting, and a spacious, dog-friendly patio sits a few blocks from the Katy Trail. No exact opening date has been announced, but service is expected to begin later this month." - Brittanie Shey
