"A boozy new all-day brunch spot that’s really named Wake ‘N Bacon is slated to open before fall at 420 W. Belmont Avenue, which will give diners and drinkers the option to add CBD to every food and drink item on the menu. Owners Gabriel and Sarah Ayala, who have past experience at Chicago spots Safehouse and Dragonfly among others, plan the space to have “kaleidoscopic hues of pink and blue” and a huge indoor tree, and drink options will include “decadently-garnished” cocktails, according to a news release and the Tribune." - Daniel Gerzina
