Newcomer Élia Beach Club brings relaxing vibes via Mykonos to Virgin Hotels | Eater Vegas

"This dayclub brings a Mykonos-inspired weekend pool party to Virgin Hotels, complete with cabanas framed in wood and draped fabric, jute-woven poufs, and stonework that echo a Greek island aesthetic. Designed by Francois Frossard, the space features sandy beaches, Mediterranean-style pools, and a stage and deejay booth topped by a straw-thatched roof to reinforce the beach- oasis vibe; the hotel also laid out a Living Room for concerts and a resort pool that draws in surrounding restaurants with patios overlooking the water. Nightlife veterans Mio Danilovic, Jason “JROC” Craig, and Michael Fuller program the music, which skews deep house and has hosted big-name deejays such as Deadmau5 and Laidback Luke. Its name is pronounced “ee-LYE-uh,” and it operates as a dayclub on Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m." - Susan Stapleton
