"Khong Ten, run by longtime catering chef Kim Vu and partner Don Andes, is closing this weekend in West LA. Despite the efforts, including backing from 'Fresh Off the Boat' actor Hudson Yang, the competition from nearby areas made it difficult for the restaurant to sustain itself. The restaurant, located at the former Freddy Smalls space on Pico Boulevard, opened in September 2018 and will have its final day of service on August 3." - Farley Elliott
