"Owners Corey McCauley and Jeffrey Kowitz have filed a permit with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission to open a new DFW outpost in a Lake Highlands strip mall at 9850 Walnut Hill Lane. Joining four existing Dallas-area locations (the original opened on Peak Street in East Dallas in 2008, plus sites in Richardson, Lakewood, and Preston Center), the restaurant is known for quick-service tacos served all day, beloved breakfast tacos and chalupas, and breakfast plates like migas and “early bird enchiladas.” Lunch offerings include chalupas, tortilla soup, salads, and burritos. The new location has applied for a liquor license, suggesting boozy drinks will be available, though an exact opening date has not yet been announced." - Amy McCarthy
