"A brand-new 55,000-square-foot Publix is slated to replace the demolished Kroger building as part of a two-year redevelopment at 3330 Piedmont Road; construction is expected to finish sometime in 2024. It will take over the longtime Kroger space but the piece notes it’s unlikely this Publix will enjoy the same local notoriety or fondness as the former store, and asks that people not call it the 'Disco Publix.'" - Beth McKibben
