Pro Pastry Chef Opens Chocolate Shop Aurora Grace | Eater Philly

"In Queen Village I discovered Aurora Grace Chocolates, which opened partially over the holidays and will begin regular hours on Thursday, January 3; it's located at Fifth and South. The shop is run by pastry chef Aurora Wold, who has experience at Michelin-starred New York restaurants including 11 Madison Park, the Musket Room, and Jean Georges, and who previously built a namesake company focused on painted chocolates before opening this brick-and-mortar. On offer are a veritable myriad of those painted chocolates in different flavors, plus other sweets like macarons, cookies, pies, and a house hot chocolate, and they serve coffee from Rival Bros; regular hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday." - Tim Forster
