"In Juzo Itami’s movie Tampopo, there’s a scene in which a cook surreptitiously makes omurice, a soft omelet over ketchup-stained rice, for Tampopo’s son Tabo. Diners can experience the version of the dish that was specifically developed for the movie at Taimeiken in the historic Nihonbashi district, a short walk from Tokyo Station.
