"No, I’m not surprised by the re-closure — officials announced dine-in openings quickly and the lengthy guidelines came afterward, so I was slow and reluctant to open our dine-in area and waited for requirements. It’s been tough to meet all the rules; we had planned to slowly prepare for a July 4th reopen but that plan fell through. We took a hit the first time dine-in happened and I expect to continue with limited operations until it’s safe, hopefully when there’s a vaccine. It’s also hard to find people who want to work right now, and because we don’t own our building and sit on a little hill, outdoor dining isn’t an option for us, so many loyal local customers end up eating in their cars before returning to work." - Matthew Kang
