"Taking place on October 21 at ChowNow鈥檚 headquarters in Culver City, the Chef Conference founded by Mike Traud, the former director of hospitality management at Drexel University, gathers hospitality professionals to connect over industry issues through panels and events and will remain bicoastal with another event in Philadelphia later this year. The Los Angeles lineup features chefs Katianna Hong (Yangban), Thomas McNaughton (Flour + Water), and Elena Reygadas (Rosetta) alongside journalists Raphael Brion (Food & Wine), Jenn Harris (Los Angeles Times), and Kim Severson (New York Times); tickets and the full lineup will be released on September 12 on the conference website, and tickets will include panel access, an afterparty hosted by Industry Only, and food from local and visiting chefs.
