"At a high-end hotel café in Beverly Hills, Astros pitcher Justin Verlander was the target of a viral prank when a lunch receipt included a “Dodger Killer” miscellaneous line charging just over $1 million, pushing the final bill to nearly $1.1 million after taxes alongside an expensive meal (including a $9 latte, a $42 McCarthy salad, and a $30 stack of pancakes).
