"Ohjah Japanese Steakhouse is making a large investment in Centennial Hills and are preparing to begin construction on a substantial 7,300-square-foot restaurant. Located at the intersection of Oso Blanca Road and Durango Drive, the empty lot had been pitched as suitable for a 4,200-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru. Ohjah will also add 50 parking spaces, a short walk from the retail center home of Marco’s Pizza, Capriotti’s, shaved ice store The Frozen Frog, and Burgerim. Created in 2010 and known for its sushi, hibachi grills, and teppanyaki tables, Ohjah predicts this location will employ 30 full time employees. Diners will pass by a custom water feature as they enter the steakhouse and can choose to sit at the sushi bar, at a stand-alone bar, in the central seating area, or at the grill tables. Future outdoor dining facing south is part of the current design. An estimated opening date has yet to be revealed." - Bradley Martin
