Cocktail Bar and Men’s Spa Scissors and Scotch Is Opening in Austin | Eater Austin

"Opening this fall at the Lantana Place development (7415 Southwest Parkway), I note that Scissors and Scotch — a combination men’s barbershop and cocktail bar out of Nebraska — will bring a full bar to Austin serving classic drinks like Old Fashioneds, martinis, and Bloody Marys, along with selections from Austin breweries and distilleries, and plans for events such as liquor tastings and tap takeovers. The bar and lounge will be open to anyone, patrons get a free drink with every service, and no food is planned. Started by friends Erik Anderson, Tanner Wiles, and Sean Finley in Omaha in 2015, the business began franchising in 2017 and now has six shops in five states; this Austin location is the first of several the team plans to open locally.
