Open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m., it serves early-morning nurses and overnight workers as well as lively evening crowds around a U-shaped bar that links vinyl booths, a billiard table and the adjoining Mexican restaurant Cocorenos; staff turnover is low, and many employees have worked there for decades under owner Mark Strop.
