"Cocktail innovator Matthew Biancaliello opened Mon-Li, the twelve-seat omakase food and drink eatery in early October, only to temporarily close it after the Woolsey Fire. Even though the site is under repair, Biancaniello will host a New Year’s Day prix fixe brunch at Calamigos Guest Ranch. There’s some decadent options like the spiny lobster benedict, uni scrambled egg toast, and foie gras donuts with persimmon preserve. Biancaniello also created four cocktails including a stinging nettle infused gin with citrusy pomelo juice, lobster-infused hot buttered rum, and a 17-step Bloody Mary with Aquavit.
