"After six years in its original Park Boulevard spot, I note that Big Front Door has relocated to a new space as the anchor tenant of Park & Polk, a recently completed 54-unit mixed-use building; the shop now occupies a 1,600-square-foot corner space with a 700-square-foot patio. Co-owners Steve and Laura Riley have transferred their menu of hot and cold sandwiches and salads and are developing new sandwiches and other dinner dishes that will debut shortly. The eatery is currently open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. but will extend evening hours to 8 p.m. starting next week, and on November 12 it will add breakfast service beginning at 8 a.m., offering Cafe Moto coffee along with breakfast sandwiches and assorted baked goods. Big Front Door, which also runs the food component at Bottlecraft in Solana Beach, is working on being able to pour beer and wine in the Park & Polk space and plans to have six taps (five beers and a cold brew)." - Candice Woo
