"A new Logan Square brewpub opened last week as the operator’s second brewpub (they’ve run a Highland Park location since 2017), becoming the neighborhood’s seventh brewery. Housed in a 7,000-square-foot space that previously held another brewery, the room retains old-school character thanks to a 111-year-old bar salvaged from an early-1900s Lincoln Park tavern, plus industrial touches like garage-door windows for airflow and rope-suspended bench swings; a large back patio completes the layout (it was vandalized with graffiti before opening). The food menu focuses on tacos—chicken tinga, barbacoa, carnitas, coconut curry shrimp, fried fish, and a hard-shell ground-beef option—alongside quesadillas, burrito bites, and two meat-free choices (mushroom mole and veggie al pastor). Beer offerings include 12 draft lines and canned to-go sales, with head brewer Raul Heredia pouring sours, lagers, and IPAs; a core beer is Diversey Station, a juicy IPA at 4.9% ABV, and the venue also operates a full liquor and cocktail bar. The taproom is open afternoons and evenings throughout the week with weekend brunch service until 3 p.m." - Ashok Selvam
