Chicago Brauhaus Nostalgia Powers German-American Group’s Plan - Eater Chicago
"DANK Haus, the North Side’s active German-American cultural group, is raising funds in the hope of recreating Lincoln Square’s iconic Chicago Brauhaus, which closed in 2017 after 52 years, according to Block Club Chicago. The DANK Haus German American Cultural Center has raised more than $4,500 thus far on a GoFundMe and plans to use pieces from the original Brauhaus (including doors, chandeliers, and its well-known red bar) on the second floor of its center at 4740 N.
