"Opened on Platte Street with a grand opening planned for May 5, this new Denver taproom—owned by a local brewery operator—focuses on showcasing Mexican ingredients and cross-border brewing collaborations. Brewer Jason Buehler traveled throughout Mexico to trade recipes and ideas, then translated those influences into niche offerings including a Churro Stout made with real churros, cinnamon, and vanilla; Cocolimón, a lime-zested sour aged with shredded coconut; Nopalito, a wheat beer mashed with fresh nopales; and an upcoming Horchata beer brewed with cinnamon, rice, and vanilla. The space features mural art by Pedro Barrios and Jamie Molina and interior design by Ramona Burns, and will host Friday happy-hour fundraisers supporting Latino community charities during its first six weeks." - Josie Sexton
